This policy explains the limited information used to operate TakeFrom.
Information used to provide the service
When you submit a TikTok link, our server processes that URL and may keep the prepared result in an in-memory cache for up to 90 seconds. IP addresses are temporarily held in an in-memory rate-limit map to prevent abuse. Normal hosting and security infrastructure may also keep short-lived technical logs.
Media processing
TakeFrom does not intentionally keep permanent copies of downloaded media. A requested file is streamed through our server from an allowed TikTok or extraction-provider host to your device. TikTok URLs and provider requests may be processed by TikTok, Tikget, Tikwm or Tikmate under their own policies.
Local storage
Your browser may store your theme preference, analytics-consent choice and service-worker cache. TikTok links are not saved to browser localStorage by this website.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics is disabled by default and loads only after you choose “Allow analytics” in the consent notice. If you decline, downloading still works. You can clear the key takefrom_analytics_consent in browser storage to reset your choice.
Cookies
TakeFrom does not set an analytics cookie before consent. Third-party infrastructure may use essential security mechanisms needed to deliver the site.
